Shea, the founder of Brew Ninja, originally developed the software as a prototype for a craft brewery – the first in Regina, Saskatchewan. At that time, there was a lot of texting between sales and production staff. An order would come in and it would get written on a whiteboard. Someone else would come along and, to make space, they’d erase the message. The wrong order would go out – or worse – the sale would be missed.   

The brewery liked what they saw in Shea’s initial software but they spotted some gaps. Given six months, Shea fine-tuned the software and they became our first customer. As more craft breweries began to open up around town, Shea got Matt onboard as a co-founder and they started to grow our client base.

With customers ranging from 400 to 20,000 barrels per year, Brew Ninja is proving to be a versatile brewery management system.
