When we started Brew Ninja software we really wanted to address the gap in the market - full featured software that is affordable for breweries that are new, have just graduated from spreadsheets or are looking for tools that make growth possible.

For most breweries, user access and a mobile platform are essential. They allow your entire team to contribute to your brewery's success. We made sure to include both to streamline your business to the best of our ability.

It goes without saying that Breweries require production management and inventory control - however a feature that most new breweries want is Lot Tracking. It isn't a glamorous feature - but neither is an audit. Federal Governments in Canada and USA audit brewery compliance with EVERY brewery within the first two years of operation. Seems essential now - doesn't it?

Ekos is easily the most popular software for brewery management in the marketplace. They boast having over 10,000 customers, and that means that you don't have a voice with customer service. While Ekos is good at what they do, the primary complaint we hear is that their brewery management software is segmented into purchase packages. If you want more features, you pay more money. 

In contrast, Brew Ninja has tried to build the essential features into each plan, and our only add-on feature is Keg Tracking, which saves most breweries $10,000 a year. Each plan is customized for breweries of a certain scale so that those breweries will get huge value and be able to grow into the features and cost of the next tier.

How Much Does Ekos Brewery Management Software Cost?

Ekos has three price plans: Essentials, Plus and Pro. Ekos Software does not post pricing on their website for any subscription levels. This means that each brewery has to negotiate their pricing, their level of customer service and features. It also means that Ekos is able to (and does) increase their pricing at any time.

Luckily we have worked with a number of their former customers and have it from word of mouth.

For a brewery producing 10,000 bbl/year:

• Ekos Essentials (base) package is $10,000 annually.
• Upgrading to the Ekos Plus Package will cost an additional $6000 per year.
• The top-tier, Ekos Professional package is an additional $10,000 per year.

While Ekos does offer a complete brewery software solution, you will pay more for every feature group you need.

Brew Ninja believes that all of the tools available to Enterprise-Level breweries can be utilized by breweries at any scale. Our pricing is tiered based on the size of your brewery production and starts at $99 per month.
