Getting There
Description
A warehouse is a large building where raw materials or manufactured goods may be stored before their export or distribution for sale.
Default warehouse
The default warehouse cannot be changed or deleted but may be renamed. Materials added to inventory will automatically be assigned to this default warehouse.
Tips and tricks
Add a Warehouse
- Click Setup → Warehouses
- Click the Add button
- Edit the newly added entry's details
- Click the Save button.
Edit a Warehouse
- Click Setup → Warehouses
- Click the row detail of the warehouse you want to change and make new changes
- Click the Save button
Delete a Warehouse
Note: the warehouse can not be deleted if it has any materials, products, or tanks in it.
- Delete all Materials, Products and Tanks assigned to this warehouse
- Click Setup → Warehouses
- Click the delete button of the desired warehouse.
Create Warehouse Field
| Name | Name of the warehouse. |
| Active | If the warehouse is Active or not. Selecting it will make it active and de-selecting it will make it inactive. |
| Type | Pick a type of warehouse from the three options. |
| Store # | Enter your store number in this field. |
| Description | Describe the warehouse here. |
| Address | Enter the address of the warehouse here, including postal code, province. Address is required. |
| Create Empty Material Inventory? | This option should be checked off if you want to create an empty Material Inventory. |
| Create Empty Product SKU Inventory? | This option should be checked off if you want to create an empty Product SKU Inventory. |
| Warehouse To Copy Costs From | Select a warehouse from the dropdown menu to select a warehouse to copy costs from. |
