Getting There
Overview
Price sheets are used to define prices, taxes and levies for your product SKUs. Price sheets are then assigned to customers. The price sheet editor makes it easy to modify a single product SKU or multiple product SKUs in bulk.
As you create product SKUs, their initial retail, wholesale, and government prices will be automatically added to the appropriate price sheets.
Types of Price Sheets
Retail | Only one retail price sheet can be active at a time. Retail sales and retail-priced sales orders will use prices, taxes, and levies specified on the active retail price sheet. Prices, taxes, and levies must be defined for all product SKUs on a retail price sheet. |
Wholesale | Multiple wholesale price sheets can be active at a time, but one wholesale price sheet is designated as the default. Prices, taxes, and levies must be defined for all product SKUs on the default wholesale price sheet. Other wholesale price sheets do not have to be entirely filled out; they will use the default wholesale price sheet as a fallback. |
Initial Price Sheets
Your brewery will have four price sheets to start. Higher subscription tiers are able to create additional price sheets.
Default Wholesale | When you have not assigned a specific price sheet to a customer, this price sheet will be used for wholesale sales orders to that customer. This price sheet requires that all prices, taxes, and levies for all product SKUs be specified. |
Retail | As mentioned in the previous section, retail sales and retail-priced sales orders will use prices from this sheet. Only one retail price sheet can be active at a time; when more than one retail price sheet exists, you will be able to change which retail price sheet is active, deactivating all others. |
Government | An additional wholesale price sheet available for use. Customers that are assigned this price sheet will be classified as government entities. This classification may affect some Canadian reports. |
Taproom | An additional wholesale price sheet available for use, though it cannot be assigned to customers. Use this price sheet to provide overrides for product SKU prices, tax codes, and levies that strictly affect taproom transfers. |
Tips and Tricks
The easiest way is to create a new retail price sheet is to duplicate your existing active retail price sheet and then make modifications in the duplicate.
Remember, you can always duplicate price sheets before adding additional information.
