Managing Tanks

Creating new tanks, editing and deleting existing tanks

Prerequisites

Warehouses - All tanks must reside in a warehouse. A warehouse in which tanks will be placed must be created before placing tanks there.

Getting there

Setup → Tanks

Viewing Tanks

Required Role: Production Access → Tanks → Configure

Adding a Tank

Required Role: Production Access → Tanks → Configure

Steps

  • Click the Add button at the top of the tank list to create a new entry.
  • Complete the fields in the entry.
  • Make sure to click the Save button at the top of the tank list to save your new tank.
  • If you decide not to save your changes, you can click the Cancel button to remove the new tank entry in the list.

Editing a Tank

Required Role: Production Access → Tanks → Configure

Steps

  • Click the tank in the tank list which you would like to edit.
  • Change the necessary tank fields.
  • Make sure to click the Save button at the top of the tank list to save your changes.
  • If you decide not to save your changes, you can click the Cancel button to revert your changes.

Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure that the capacity for the tank includes headspace.
  • Changing the warehouse can affect reporting.

Deleting a Tank

Required Role: Production Access → Tanks → Configure

Steps

  • Click the delete icon on the row of the tank you wish to delete.
  • Confirm that you would like to delete the tank.

Tips & Tricks

  • The tank to be deleted must not have any contents in it.
  • Changing the warehouse can affect reporting
